Strengthening Natural Dye Handloom Livelihoods in Shivamogga

A cluster-based initiative for naturally dyed handloom livelihoods

Implemented between 2019 and 2022 under the SFURTI framework, this initiative brought together over 450 weavers to strengthen natural dye handloom production in the Shivamogga region. The project focused on skill development, design support, and organised production systems to improve quality, expand market access, and support sustainable, women-led livelihoods.
